Bank Account...

I checked at my back today about an account and they said they wont do accounts for business or clubs. So I will try tomarrow to go to another bank that is right around the corner from me. Will keep you updated!!

Ok this is what i found out....
I can open a checking account with a $100 but i can only use 7 checks or debit uses a month and we will be charged $6 a month for the account. We also have to have a min. amount o $150 in the account at all times. This was the best thing i could find out of all the banks i went to. To open this account i would have to go through the IRS and Tax ID number and a Articales of Association.

I have another plan which might be better....

I can open a second checking account at my bank for only $50. It will be a seprate account from mine. I will be able to get checks and a Debit card for free and I can have the account veiwable from the net. The only bad thing is that it will be in my name. If you can trust me with the money then I think we should do it this way. If Florida NECO ever wants a new tresurer, I can cancel the account and have all the money moved to where ever we want.

Wow, that first method you mentioned sounds like way too much red tape for a simple club bank account, might as well keep it under the mattress. If we had to have $150 in there at all times that would limit how much we could buy. Plus, even though $6 a month isn't much, I don't think anyone wants any of their money going towards anything but mods and club stuff.
I have no objections to you opening the account under your name if you can't find any other way.

OK I will open the account after the G-ville meet. I will most likely open it with my money and have myself paid for the year. I will post a topic about the dues.
