Ok, this is Michigan dammit... Why in the hell is it 105 degrees outside (heat index)...! This is freaking BRUTAL, and of course on the day that I chose to drive the Cougar with no a/c to work... Ugh!
Time to go out and take a pic of what the Cougar says the temp is outside. :P

Yeah, it's freaking hot here too. I drove the Mustang yesterday with no A/C. I had both windows down, then it started to rain. I had on the harness so couldn't reach over to roll up the window. :(

Yeah, I saw that, I was actually doing a temp comarison with some cities, and I was a bit confused. The temp changes are dramatic.
As of 10am:
Detroit = 97
Cleveland = 83
Columbus = 82
Providence RI = 74
Long Beach CA = 69
I mean really, of those cities, who would have through Detroit to be the one blazing?

Currently weather.com says:
94F, feels like 109F!!!
I just rode from the plant to the office, about a 20-30 minute drive -- I was SOAKED when I got here, damn racing harnesses don't help, I had a big H on my chest in sweat-lines from where they sit against me. :P

My explorers AC works great but the thermometer in it did read 118 when i was stoped at a light this evening.. that is too ****ing hot even if it is just because some of the hot engine air has gotten to the sensor...

They say a cold front is going to come in tommorow night. Which will cool things off to about 80(ish). So Saturday shouldn't be that bad!
Poor Mark at work in the shop. He said yesterday was 105. Can't imagine what today is.

Well the heat claimed a casualty, my explorers Alternator fried itself yesterday on the way home. Lucky for me the location is about as easy as it could get and removal tookall of 10 minutes and install the same..

well I can officially say I am pulling the a/c out of my car.
if this is as hot as its going to get and I'm still not using it, well then I think I can safely [or wrecklessly] remove it.

Wheee! Go hardcore man, no A/C means less parasitic draw from the compressor, as well as less weight. =)
