can i find a detailed tear down of my cams and valves? along with how the secondary valves engage on a 2.5 liter v-6.

and detailed pictures describeing how it functions

my secondary valves dont always seem to engage, from what i read they are sapposed to engage between 3400 and 3900 rpms, sometimes i'll push my engine well above 4k and i wont feel the secondaries engage

the odd thing is, this problem only started happening after i changed the oil, i used 5w-30 valvoline brand oil and changed the oil filter, oil level is at the full mark, and any mechanic at the dealership seems to refuse to help me w/o coughing up a 70 dollar fee for them to check it

Well, first off the secondaries aren't related to the cams and the intake/exhaust valves.

The secondaries you are referring to are actually located in the lower intake manifold, and are opened by a rod, attached to a cable that is actuated by the IMRC, which is under the plastic cover on the front valve cover.

A couple things you can check before you go tearing your engine apart.

Verify that the rod is connected. Many times it become disconnected as the plastic piece that holds it in place breaks. Look under the throttle body side of the upper intake manifold and you'll see it. Make sure it's snapped in place.

If it is, start your car and let it warm up. Have it in neutral (or park) with the e-brake on, and while watching that rod, rev the engine up to at least 4000 rpm (under the hood, using the throttle body) and see if the rod moves.

If it is connected, but isn't moving, chances are that your IMRC has gone bad. You can find some used ones for sale on here in the classifieds section.

Good luck!!
