View Full Version : Me vs V6 Accord

I was on my way to class this morning and a 2004-2005ish V6 Accord blew by me down town.
I was doing 40mph in a 25mph zone already. So I kick it down and traffic is spaced out just enough to weave back up to him. So I catch him and blow by his ass. After I slowed down he done the ricer-fly-by and turned his hazzards on.
I got pissed and caught back up with him. I get beside him and downshift, but don't press the gas. I dropped back about 2 car lengths and waved to him to go. He took off and I waited about 2 sec. and then took off. I blew by his ass again. Of course he does another ricer-fly-by and hits his hazzards.
As we went around the turn he was probably at 100-110mph (judging on I was doing 80mph and he blew by me.) Everytime I go around this curve I all ways slow down because there is a traffic light that just pops up on you. Besides the curve is too sharp to be taking it that quick. We came up to that traffic light and of course it was red. He locked up his brakes and ripped up his P-brake. If he would have stopped he would have stopped where his car would have been centered on top of the white line. Of course he runs the light.
I slowed down for the light and it turned green when he got under the light. I take off in 2nd turning 1000 rpm. I catch back up with him, pass him, get infront of him, and turned my hazzards on while fliping him the bird.

I'm really having a hard time trying to understand what exactly happened, but in general it sounds like you both were kind of being tools... :crazy:

werd. both of ya'll were being idiots. and btw, if the accord were to race you straight up. he would blow your doors off.

1st thing is I have more done to my car than what I show. 2nd alot of people around here doesn't know how to drive. Which gives all the good drivers something to do around here. In other words eat up all the ricers.

Regardless of what you have done to your motor(minus swap)..the ONLY way you could've beaten a 7G accord V6 is if the driver ABSOLUTELY could not drive. The would eat even a modded V6 coug and thats stock. Not to mention the fact both of you were driving pretty irresponsibly to begin with.

Never seen the 4 cylinder Cougar run and nobody really tested them but the 4 door Accord and Cougar V-6 are pretty evenly matched.
Despite its 240hp the 4 door *Accord is good for a 7.3 0-60 run and a 15.7 @ 91mph in the ¼ mile. Mostly because it tips the scales at a whooping 3,400lbs. The V-6 2 coupe with the manual transmission is another story all together.
Then again you turned into a real asshat when you got your **Tiburon V6 because you through it was soooo much faster than a V-6 Cougar when the reality is it runs 7.6 0-60s, and 15.9 @ 87.6mph ¼ miles. As a result your opinion on vehicle performance doesn’t count for much.

Again as I always post...I don't tell what all I have in or done to my car. If you want to know I'll tell you 1 thing that is done. I have a 100 shot of nitrous. Wet shot not dry, direct port, and the kit is made by ZEX.

He doesn't actually have a 100hp ZEX kit on his car.
I mean think about it. It's a 130hp car, with his exhaust and intake he may have picked up 15-20hp tops. And 100hp shot on top/ you’re talking mid 250hp range. And he only beats V-6 cars by 2 car lengths?
More to the point I really don't see the stock Zetec holding up to a 100hp shot of nitrous and without some aftermarket fuel delivery system he couldn't run it anyway.
Until he takes a picture of his engine bay with the ZEX line and a sign that says "TDK loves t3h c0ck" then i'm calling BS on his car, this steaming pile of donkey crap called a story.

Then your claim makes even less sense because even with your mods your a few hp shy of a stock V-6 which makes it even more unlikely that you could beat one much less by 2 car lengths.

Fool please. That's the Zetec of fury. It raced Black Betty and won the 2006 title. I heard he launched so hard he hung the front wheels out at least till the 330 foot mark. Like a pro stock run or some ****.
