does any1 make a tb spacer for our cars? if so where, how much, and is it worth it? also, how do i get my uim max extrude honed and whats the performance difference between that and a SVT unit

I have a SVT UIM, LIM, TB and GMK CAI. Even on my 3.5 hour trip from PA to MD the UIM was still cool. There is no need for TB spacers on these cars.

My UIM doesnt stay cool but the CAI pipe does.

Cool? My svt upper gets pretty hot.... Im in the process of getting the GMK xtension...hopefully it gets cooler....Im getting a lot of heat soak from the headers I believe....I got a short Ram now...Im thinking Ill be able to tell the difference

well i got a stock UIM and mine get really hot like u cant rest your hand on it. I got a GMK CAI on it and it still get hot

TB Spacers do more than keep things cool ... which the tend to not do at all since most are aluminum.

They slightly change the intake manifold volume & length causeing a slight change in the power band... Usually it's not worth it but combined with a few other of the right mods & engine you can pick up a couple of horsepower .... but only maybe 1-3 .... it's kind of along the same lines at tuned runners... but less effective.
