so im at the light headin on to my highway goin home earlier today, when an older porsche pulls next to me. i knew right away which model it was too becuase i almost got one as my first car. the 944. what idk when i see this guy next to me was what he had done to it because it sounded like a boxster s.
light goes green and i drive normal and he edges a headlight on me and glances over. so i slam 2nd to about 58 shift into third and he's right there with me......for about a splitsecond. then i hear the BOV and the rumble from what sounded like a turbo back and he was GONE. when i hit 70 in 3rd he had at LEAST 5 cars on me. and was still goin.
then i let off as does porsche man and when i get up to him i see the turbo badging on the back.
he gave me the thumbs up and we went our seperate ways.
that car was sweet. nice powder gold color too...

oh yes. a buddy of mine is building up a 944 turbo. those cars are sick!

So every person that wins a street race against a car much slower than him has a small penis? If thats true, going by all the black betty vs. *insert sloooow car here* threads, that would make yours like...non-existant.

when my buddy had a 944 N/A i racs it and at a roll he had nothing. when i raced him off the line i missed second but unbeknown to us there was a UC behind me. he got pulled over for screeching his tires. never got to race it again.

The 944 was actually rated better than the 911's of the same year according to many car reviewers. For a cheap man's porsche, they did one hell of a job with that car. The 944 turbo still makes a great track car. At Lime Rock they had no trouble keeping up with a few of the GT3s that were out there with them. I really wanted one till I slapped myself in the face and said, "cheap enough to buy, good luck with the maintenance." Pretty much what I'll be saying if I ever have enough money for the initial purchase of my Ferrari ;)
