Impromto meet this sat

I should be putting the motor back in this sat if anyone wants to come help/watch/learn. Were gonna be starting early though prolly 8. If all goes well gonna try and pull the subrame and box it in and put the roush bar in. Im going to pick up parts this afternoon so ill know more tonight

Gonna be at the same place as the June mod meet so you all know how to get there

and if you wanted to be super helpful you could crash for the night and help put up a fence at my house sunday morning :poke:

well ive got bad news for you then terry. the crank bearings are back ordered so i cant get anything done with out them. Its gonna have to wait till the parts come in and then im gonna get it put together hopefully in a day. Granted that might be sat the 5th

But the good news is that we are gonna be putting my fence up on Sat so if you wanna still come and help you can. Lunch will be provided and booze left over from the wedding reception once the fence is completed of course

well the bearings arent supposed to ship until the 30th so who knows when they will get here. they put an emergency on the order so i dont know if that will help or not. and here i thought getting the crank would be a problem and its the freaking bearings grrrrrrr

the chicago CEG are some great guys, I can assure you you will enjoy yourself.

I was also planning on attending Mt. Prospect's cruise night afterwards [6-9pm]. They got some very impressive muscle, original vintage and a few rods that show up every week. I'd like to shake things up a bit and bring a few "modern" cars to the show.

well ford called, my parts came in today. so im gonna put the motor together tomorrow and back in on sunday. anyone still wanting to come is welcome. sorry to do this to everyone but ford is unpredictable as hell and said it wouldnt ship till monday.

hey do you still have the stock crank pully laying around?

if so, I would be VERY interested in getting the belt measurements for the stock crank + o/d alt & p/s - a/c

yes i do, im going to use the stock crank and p/s pullies w/the bigger alt pulley on the 3L with no a/c.

on the 03 ps pump they changed the way that it mounts so the bigger ps pulley wont mount up

the motor got put together on sat. motor got installed today. All thats left is to install the y pipem, short ram, bleed the clutch, and one or 2 small bolts here and there and the hood. thats all gonna get done tomorrrow
