Well some members on there know i make custom turbo kits and such. i know cougarpimp916 will be eventully getting a turbo kit made by me, just not sure when, anywho these are pics from my buddys zx2 im turboing

you should buy up a batch of used WeaponR headers and use them as your Turbo Manifolds, then just fab the uppipe and downpipe. I could do the IC piping.

a lot of people have said they will start building manifolds for the v6 but some fall through. the weapon r headers would be the best bet fo t the template. i know warmonger used a set for his x-turbo tour.

It'd be easier, more effective, better looking, and cheaper to buy a set of Weapon R headers and just have the front elbow rotated 180°.

here is a pic of un-molested weapon r ...they are very easy to mod...all that needs to be fabbed is the up and down-pipe and probally a new header, the rear header could stay the same design(could probally for a better word copied)

Yeah a lot of people do just talk but i figured looking at his other work maybe he wanted to give it a chance. Of course its up to him. I would be nice thought to have a set of turbo headers available so you could turbo your Cougar easier.

yeah i have the time to do it, but o would really like to have a car where i could test fit and make sure its perfect and that way i can make a jig and make them in a heart beat, they wouldnt cost too much either, i sell the one pictured for about 275 shiped, and its stainless steel

Heres your mission....

Step 3: Take my keys, insert them into the ignition, drive back to Cleveland

Step 4: Make the Turbo Manifolds, and make the well

Step 5: Return the Cougar to me with the manifolds on, and use my car for a demo :biggrin:

if you build turbo kits, why don't you assemble a cheap kit? Low psi with atx/mtx usability ... something around 5-8 psi ... would enable the 2.5s to push around 200 whp on a stock engine or so, and the 3.0s can push up to around 275. If you go with something closer to the 8 range ... they could be pushing 225 and 300 ... nice numbers, and would sell well for the right price.

See just making a piping kit would separate the boys from the men. With the piping kit you could pick you one turbo and all the other things. There is a big difference making a turbo kit and just making a piping kit.

I can't speak for the Escort, but all of the Zetec Foci use the MTX-75. A non-Zetec Focus uses the IB5.

From what I understand though, the bellhousing on the Focus MTX-75 differs from that the version that comes in the Duratec Cougar...I can take a picture of the Focus MTX-75 sitting in my garage if anyone can confirm.

The I4 & V6 bellhousings are different on the MTX-75. The input shafts are different lengths as well, so it couldn't be used even if the bellhousing was the same ;)

im positive i can make the hole setup, headers, and up pipe, down pipe and all charge pipes for a FMIC, if your interested in dontating your car, ill have to write a wavier saying that im not responisble if the engine blows up and what not,

and ifyou donate the car are you wanting the hole turbo kit? cuz the 1st one who helps me make it will get a big price brake and basicly have to buy the equipment to have the turbo kit, piping, couplers fmic, turbo, oil supply and returnlines, tuning(basetune only) SCT 4 pos. chip or x-cal

God knows that would be a total pain in the ass though. Probably have to do a turbo UNDER the car ala BMW M3 turbo kit.
