Is anyone around. I was at the shop today and could not figure out where the PCV valve was. I even had the Chilton book and still couldn't (of course the book sucked, very illustrated for 2.0L but not the 2.5L).

Planning on heading back tomorrow to do the PCV and spark plugs.

Also anyone noticed that the search doesn't work anymore? Did all the Meta Tags get erased when forum was upgraded? I did a few searchs for things including PCV and get nothing. Frustrating thats all.

The PCV valve sits in an elbow shaped hose directly UNDER the throttle body. It has three connections (the elbow that it sits in, the tube to the UIM, and the main vacuum line to the interior). Replacement is really easy- Once you find it!

Post up to the "forum issues" section and ask Trevor what's up. I personally haven't tried searching since the migration.

Thanks Dan, I found it, but I could not get the PCV off the hose it was attached on. I then tried to take the tube off and actually cracked. I had to go to the auto store to get a heater hose as a quick fix. Will have go to Ford/Merc to get replacement.
