View Full Version : Crooked Antenna

Not a huge deal, most people won't notice.. but while I was standing in front of the car today I noticed that the antenna does not go straight back, it is turned about 2 degrees towards the passenger side. Any idea how to fix this without breaking it? i/expressions/smile.gif I'll find a way to break it.. trust me. i/expressions/smile.gif

What part of the antenna? cuz I know that sometimes my bottom base moves slighly to the side and makes it look a little crooked and I just take the bottom and shift it then she's all better again.... if its anything else I assume that its flexible enough to bend it in any direction needed.... i/expressions/devil.gif

Yeah.. definately the base.. I tried moving it before, it's on there pretty good, I'm afraid since it is secure I am afraid of it becoming worse if I play with it.
Thinking about taking a sledge hammer to it, and telling ford the roof just "Caved in".. then I can ask for a moonroof while it's there. i/expressions/smile.gif
Switch hands, if you constantly use the same hand it will happen.
Oh wait....were you really talking about your antenna?

take off your dom light. there is a piece of foam move it have some one hold the antenna there is a screw undo the screw and then have that person hold the antenna straight and tighten the screw now it will be straight

Kevin.. thanks! I'll try that tomorrow.. (damn weather, it was beautiful and 70 all day while I was working).. I get out of work and it turns 50 and starts pouring!
