hey, whats up, i have few questions. i was wondering if there was any way i could install headers, the ones from zxtuner or pro-motion(customcougars) and still be able to pass inspection, since i live in PA.
i know that they take out the CAT. and you can get that elimantor to take the engine light off but would i still be able to pass?
second is that i want a front strut bar but dont know which one to get that would work around thr weapon r intake?
once again thanx

1. it is "header", not "headers" since there is only one on the 4cyl.
2. as for emissions, it depends on where you get yours done at. if they only plug your car up to the computer, then you will be fine by just getting the mileliminator. if they do the sniffer, then you might be in a bit of trouble, but it isn't something that couldn't be solved by a high flow cat. but still, it just mainly depends on how strict the place is you take it too. Do a bit of snooping around your area, and you might even find someone who will let you pass w/o any of that, but a shop like that won't be easy to come by since they won't just straight up tell you they will do that. but check a lot of performance shops that do a lot of business, do some business with them, and they will normally help you out.
3. as for the strut bar, any of them should work with the intake IIRC.
hope this helps

As for the Strut Bar.....I don't think any of them are even close to the intake:shrug:
I didn't pay attention that you have the 2.0....I think most should still fit, but you can go on cougardb.com and do a search buy Mods. from there you put in the engine size and then you can put the intake type and also different Strut Bars and see what comes up.....I'm thinking OMP is the best bet.

the freedom design bar hits the intake. the only clearance issue is w/ the metal elbow on top of the throttle body. i have the weapon r intake and the freedom design bar. when i first went to put the bar on the intake was in the way. i loosened up the clamps on the intake and jockeyed the tubing around to get a small clearance. then when i started the engine and the motor started vibrating, the intake elbow started knocking on the bar. u can get the freedom bar to fit, u just need to trim the coupler on the throttle body to lower the intake elbow a bit to fit under the bar.

that's the omp bar. it has a bend in the bar intended to go around the intake. the freedom design is the bar that hits the intake and needs to b "encouraged" in.
