View Full Version : Question about the firewall
hey, can anyone tell me where I can pass a wire through the firewall. Do I have to drill a hole? I have a 99.

Do you have a manual or automatic?
If it's an automatic, you can use the hole where the clutch cable would be. If it's manual, I think you have to drill a hole. I did anyway.

Naah, Just pull out the cruise servo between the cowl and the strut tower, there is a huge grommet to run wires through there. They will come out of the floor above the interior fusebox.

Doesn't that just go into the cowl with the wiper motor?
I just drilled mine.

are u kidding? 4 guage is more than ANYONE would EVER need... and two of them no less... does your alternator function as a backup for Yankee Stadium and Derek Jeters' ego?

with 4k watts to the sub at one point yes and had 3 redtops in the back, then after I took the amps aout and jsut rand 1500 to the sub I used the other run as my ground from the neg, which worked better than it being grounded under the seatbolt belt. And no, when you are running 2+ sub amps, midrange amp, midwoofer amp, and a small tweeter amp, you need more than 4 ga.

Hi,
I could not found the way to pass the cable. So I need to make a hole. Where is the best position to drill the hole?
