Cuz if we give enough lead time, Goldie from NW will grace us with her presence. Now, if that's not a good enough reason to have a meet, something is wrong with you guys. :rofl:

Did ya pick a date yet? I looked at the drive distance/gas$ vs airline ticket price and it's about the same ;)
guess if I drive down, it'd be a good warmup for driving out east next summer. :tongue:

I could head down after work on thursday and meet with melinda and then head the rest of the way with her
and then head back sunday morning

It depends when the meet is.
If it is between July 30th and August 21st, I will not be able to make it.
But if it were before or after that, then I'd be there.
Then I believe we should have it before or after those dates.
It's up to Goldie, really, because my schedule is pretty flexible.

For those who have done it, how long is the drive from So-Cal to Nor-Cal? The farthest I have driven is San Luis Obispo and that took several hours through traffic.

What I am think is that I can try to leave at like 4 in the morning and attempt to be where ever it is you guys need me to be for the meet but sometime in the afternoon.

Ok, took the car in. 300 bucks starting just for a diagnosis to get into the engine. I started to protest and call :bs: but the old man stepped in and overrode me. Guy comes out sniff the oil and asks when it was changed last (Last June). My dad says go ahead and change it.

Looks like I won't be getting that 3.0litre, They where estimating $1500 for the labor on it, the parts and labor to fix the problem is 1300. I'm dissapointed in how this played out, I was hoping to have a 3.0litre on my dad's dollar but instead i'll have to wait a little while longer. :( (when I am better employed)
It bugs me becuase I knew what the problem was, and if I didnt have my dad take it into the mechanic I could've bugged NorCal to help me out with three litre drop. :evil:
Anyway, Ty needs to give us a Date for the norcal meet since I will be able to get myass up there.

Car won't be ready 'til monday now. The lifters from napa don't work and they need to get the parts through the stealership. On monday the car probably won't be ready because the parts won't be in. All this work/money and not a single aftermarket part is going on the car. :banghead:
