I recently boguht a 1999 Cougar, and I love it! My question is... while searching for parts, i mostly see V6 Cougars, while mine is a 4 Banger. 1) Is there any Point to moding my Straight 4 Cougar 2) will I be able to get the parts for it?
Any help or suggestions will help!

I believe alot of guys look for Focus parts for the ZETEC I4, its basically the same motor, from what I understand. Both of my Cougar's have been V6's though, so I'm not too terribly familiar with the 2.0 engine and particular mods.

ZX2 and focus parts..Check out the 2.0 secton of the board..you responses will be more concrete :)

Theres definately a bit more room under the hood to mod the I4 than the V6.
