So I'm driving to work today- as I pull off the freeway, some jackhole no-shirt wearing asswipe in a "I'm so badass"-Lifted-Dodge-Ram-RAWRRRR decides to cut across three lanes, nearly kill 2 people, and pull up to the front at the light like he's in a major hurry to get some poontang.
I'm sitting in the lane next to him, and he keeps inching forward. Maybe his brake pedal is busted. Maybe if he doesn't inch forward, his car will explode, kind of like the bus in speed. Soon a the light turns green, he starts flooring it and yelling something that sounds like "WOOHOO" out the window.
Okay.
Maybe he just bought this think and thinks he's badass. I figure it was time to put the prick in his place and give him a lesson that he's not the fastest thing on the road, no matter how loud that truck is with its flowmasters (Why the **** does every truck driver have flows?)
We both pull up at the next light (He was in such a hurry to get there to wait again), and I kind of glance up at Mr. No-Shirt-Lifted-Truck-Dude. He's just rockin' out to.. nothing.. no music, just rockin' out. Total tweaker. Light turns green, and he floors it. Nice chirp off the line.
I make sure I get a nice peel to catch his attention.. which doesn't last long, because I fly past him so fast in 2nd and 3rd, he just kind of lets off the gas and slows down.
Try not to kill someone next time, asshole. :)

Pffftt... w/e. Truck drivers are badass in my book. They don't need music to look cool. Lol.

I hate those idiot rednecks...way to show 'em who's boss.
Yeah rednecks with trucks are ****ers. I was at the beach the other day and got my car stuck all the down to the frame because some asshole stopped in front of me in a really soft area. Anyway, about 20 feet ahead were about 4 trucks (lifted, camo, etc..) one of them drives over with his black lifted dodge ram 1500 and says "hey buddy need some help?" and so I explain and he proceeds to tell me that he will pull me out, but I'd have to hook it up and pay him $20. So I told him okay, not realizing that he asked for money. He then gets his tow strap out and tells me to pay first then he would pull me out, so I of course I said **** that. My buddy and I just left my car stuck and surfed for a bit and when we got back we let the air out of the tires, unburried my car, and somehow managed to get the car unstuck within about 20 minutes.
I thought that was real ****ed up though...

So how did ya drive with no air in the tires once you were out of the sand?
It is common for someone to ask for a couple bucks when pulling someone out that is stuck but around here it isn't just sand. I'm talking about snow and mud. although $20 is way to much.

hmm good kill on the truck way to put him in his place, around here no one asks for money, we always ask them if they want to grab a beer, common courtesy, but then again i do live in Canada lol

I thought beer WAS currency in Canada?

I definately would have appreciated the help and would have offered him money, but since he was a dick about it I didn't want to bother. I'm not the type to be unnappreciative.

The guy was just a dick like you said. You should have let the air out of his tires, not yours

yeah stupid a-holes that drive lifted trucks suck!!! I hope they
take their huge mullet machines and die.:)
By the way I don't have flows just headers and turbo2 mufflers.
We're not all bad and just because you own a lifted truck doesn't
mean you are a gun toting redneck. Though I do own a nice rifle...
Nice kill on the tweaking maniac driving the lifted Dodge though Norcal.

I've got nothing against a good truck with some nice tires and a few inches of lift. The biggest problem I have is when people drive them like sports cars. Look, I don't go mud-bogging in my Cougar or T-Bird, so don't try to race me in your Ram, ok? Your drivetrain weighs a good portion of what my car does!
I've actually had discussions like that with my roommate. He's got a pretty nice fiberglass CJ5, few inches of lift, 33" tires, AMC 304 running through nothing but headers and glasspacks... He'll get on the throttle, and, well, it sounds pretty nice. The moment he starts sliding the back end around like it's a sports car, though, I challenge him to a race. For some reason, he hasn't accepted yet. :)
Oh, yeah, and I hate having trucks and SUVs sitting on my butt. Look, people -- my brakes are the same size as yours, my car weighs 1000lb less, you're 3 feet from my bumper. Do you see the problem here?

I am sorry that you have such a bad opinion of rednecks and trucks because of a few inbred nuckle heads. as you can see i also drive a fullsize dodge and myself and all of my buddies that drive trucks would have not only pulled you out for free, we would have made sure you got the car back to the road and gave you a beer. There is just a different kind of people in Montana i guess.
