Broken shifter

so I got the cougar out and noticed shifting was very strange. It was going into gears strange and there was alot of play. so I cracked everything open and I come to find out my shifter is BROken!! NO WAY! :mad: :mad:
It is a CC short throw. anyone else ever have this happen. oh and if anyone has a short shift laying around. PM me.

Must be from all that powa shiften you do. :) Just use the stock shifter and cut it down. Almost all the aftermarket knobs tighten with allen screws so they will fit right on.

Yep, I broke my CC shifter within one week of buying it! It looks like they just put one tack weld on to hold it together. :crazy:

Tig welded it back together, been fine ever since.

The CC is the exact same design as the B&M one. You just have to reinforce the welds.

I've seen you post about focal jet a few times now and I looked all over that site and can't seem to find where people sell their own parts. Can you help me out? :bowdown:

Oh, BTW, my shifter base looks different than happsmack's, I don't have the retaining clip like that. My retaining clip is on the right side of the car and is a metal c-clip. :confused:
