Hi, all,
I am (kind of) a new guy here- I first ventured into the cougar thing when I got my H.S. Grad gift, a 2000 cougar ATX, clearcoat white, V6 coupe. I enjoyed this car thru my senior year of H.S., and the first couple of years of college, and it's been a reliable daily driver. In the time I have owned the car, I have visited TONS of websites and looked through countless articles about the car to see if modifying it would be worthwhile. After looking on this board (again) I have figured out that it would be worth my time and money. Now then- I don't particularly identify with the whole "tuner" thing, I'm more of a musclecar/hot rod guy, but the Cougar has the name of a musclecar- so at least I have that going for me.
Anyhow, enough rambling.
If you have any questions, well, hell, this is a message board, so I guess posting your questions/rotten tomatoes/romantic queries is in order anyhow.
Thanks!
Jim

For those idiots who say our cars are "rice".... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WR_QwDVMVWg)

Welcome to the forums, man! I'm a muscle car guy too, so you're not alone. Dream car is an 03 Cobra, hopefully after I get out of college I'll be able to get one to park next to my Coug in the garage. ;)

Browse around and see whats out there for the car, there's more than you think. Don't be afraid to use the "Search" button up top to find anything you need. The forums have been here for something like 6 years, there's more than enough data here to find what you need.

HAHA YES!!!! I went on a school trip there this year over spring break, and that place was by far the best 2 hours of the trip. I'm pretty sure that beer is a 2 liter. Ahhhh Germany was amazingggg!!!!

We were all 17 and 18 on the trip, so being able to order drinks was so weird. My and 3 friends ended up sitting down at that place next to 3 college students from Cali. First thing they said to us was 'we're gona buy another one for the first person who finshes there beer.' So my friend finsihed his then they got him more. They taught us thumper, which is a sweet dirnking game. Man that was an amazing time.

Yeah, that place is a good time. I hope the Army sends me there after I am commissioned. *sigh*
