they are made for a 99' and can be used on stock or koni struts. With the stock stuts you just have to cut the perch off them...

C'mon I did some googleing and found them for a little cheaper than 400 shipped. I've seen them go for alot less than what your asking for.
Well then buy them from someone else

Um, no. There is two different sets, ones made specifically for Stock struts, the other set made specifically for Koni struts. It should say it on the box :)
I'm not trying to bust your balls, just helping your sale by helping you clarify the specifics on them, it helps.

While this may be true...i had mine on my stock struts for a year, and now on my Koni's for over 2 years...;)

The only difference is the d-rings, konis are slightly smaller therefore will not work on stock struts. stock d rings will work on koni's they will be slightly loose.

The kit is for 99'-00' cougars/ 95'-00' contours and is for the stock struts..
Therefore they will work on stock or koni struts!!!!

So basically these could be put on a car with stockies and than later the struts could be replaced with Koni's by just getting a different D-ring? Are those expensive?
Also, anyone know if once the GC are on if they drop the car at all (compared to stock) when they are all the way up? how's the ride if they are all the way up? I have a system in the rear and don't want to drop the rear any lower than the system makes it now but need to drop the front and that's why I ask.
If I buy them you guys want to help me put them on?

from what i was told, and will hopefully be experiencing in a few weeks ... the drop with gc's on is 1", or all the way up ... full slam is 3", or all the way down. so basically, all the way up is not stock height, it is a 1" drop. Hope this helps.

The rears you can actually raise the car about 1/2", Wierd. Half down is about stock height. Front is definatley about 1" lower than stock all the way up.

I'd help one Saturday or something...but we might would have to do it at my house. We could have a meet and all go to the beach or something. Cause if we do it at my ouse...you can take me to my favorite Japanese restaurant afterwards ;)

Does the the GC with just regular strut increase handling of the car?? And how long can you keep the GC's on with stock struts?

Yes, even with stock struts it will drastically increase the handling of the car. And you can leave the stock struts on there as long ass your a$$ can take the beating they will give you. Well...i guess its all in personal preference really...they aren't "that bad" with stock struts. But it is way beter with some Koni's.
Bluestreak...i can help you anyimte you need if you were able to come to me...but if i have to come to ATL it might be a while before i can get up that way...maybe the Sunday/Monday after Nopi Nats in September.

No thank you. I think I will just go with Eibach and Bat sport struts. If I get the GC's that mean I will definetly have to get konis.
