Indianapolis is on Eastern Standard Time I think, whereas I think Detroit is on Eastern Daylight Savings Time. Thus one hour behind.

Nope. A good portion of Indiana (Indianapolis included) adopted daylight savings time this year. Detroit and Indianapolis are on the same time now, and always will be.
