Hey all,
Just to let you know...I just had a custom intake system done on my svt...haven't dyno'ed it yet, but will go out for a run hopefully tomorrow on my home kit and in a few weeks on a chassis dyno.
It does seem to have improve low end torque a little, keep in mind I already had a K&N conical drop-in. It does lot nice though, I had everything done up to the Throttle body including a short aluminmu straight pipe in place of that accordian thing.
Sounds nice too. Not too noticeable at idle or soft acceleration...but at WOT it is a little louder and deeper. I like IT!
Will let you know more when I have results in hand, and pictures too. The manufacturer has agreed to produce more systems. This will be offered through Performance Fords in the near future!!
