Prestone Carpet Cleaner = KILLER

Hey, just thought I'd let ya guys know...
Yesterday I was cleaning the carpets and upholstery in my car with Prestone Carpet Cleaner (With Odor Neutralizer) (the one in a red can, with a plastic brush on top I'll try to post pictures) But, on with the story...I have used this product before with no problems (but that was before it had odor neutralizer) but this time the overspay seems to have bleached my center console and the plastic on the door around the little pocket deal..water and armor all do not work, both just make it dissappear for a moment, then as they dry, the bleached marks reappear...so I suppose this is both a warning for others and a request for solutions, I will be calling Prestone soon to se eif they have any remedies.

i would read the label and see if there is any warning about possible bleaching or damage to plastics in case of overspray... if there isnt, i would call them and see if you can get your parts replaced.

(or you could just paint the center consoles)

Oh yeah I used this stuff as well and the same thing happened to my center console. I fixed it with black magic interior stuff... you know like armoral, but its WAY better. Just keep applyin it and it will go back to black... or back in black...

was it the new stuff with odor neutralizer?....i had an old can with out that and it did no damage..but then this one killed my console.
