My car drives and all but there are tons of melted/exposed wires that I have no clue what they are for. Also my fuse box is just hanging by the wires that are going into it. Im just looking for some one that could rewire my car basically. Not all the interior lighting stuff. Just what is under the hood. I want people to look at it and think its just factory not how it is now with wires everywhere. Im not sure how much I'll pay but I really want to get it done because the other day while driving the car just shut off and wouldn't start... This happened when I was driving at about 70mph so that was kind of weird. But before that I felt a pretty good jolt like I tapped the gas real quick in 5th. But after it did that the abs light came on real quick and then after about a second it went off. Then it just completely shut off. So I was on the sholder and looking for anything I could see. I couldn't see anything but when my friend got there I put his battery in my car and it started right up. So I was thinking oh I guess my battery is a pos. But then we put it in his car and it started right up. So then I drove home and looked around and while I was moving stuff I saw a few sparks (like if you touch the (-) terminal to metal) and I saw wires that looked like ****. I did ramble a lot there but I hope it kind of tells you what Im dealing with. I just want it to look stock and be as good if not better than stock by using a solder gun and heat wrap seals. I know how to use those but I don't know anything about wiring. The biggest wiring job I've done is plug my head unit in...Thanks for reading all my bs.

And if you can't wire my car but do know some one or a shop that does let me know because I really dont want my car to catch on fire:(

Thanks again.

all the electrical wires on the inside of your engine bay are exposed??? thats wierd...mine are all grouped together then wrapped in black electrical tape.

how the hell did your wires become exposed in the first place??
And you probably shouldnt be driving a car with melted and exposed wires, doesnt sound too safe to me.

well, He's in the 3 liter swap section...so maybe he had someone do it, and they didnt wrap the wires back together?

but i dont think wires would have to be unwrapped to swap in a 3L. i could be wrong though

Oh no. I didn't meant o say all of them. Only a few are exposed. And they are only grounds. Well at least I think they are only grounds.

Ok question for you, do you have a 3L???

If you do how did it get into the car??

B/c if you did the swap i would think you could fix some ground cables....

And I don't mean my harness either. Sorry for me not telling you guys much. But the 3.0L swap was done by 10ktgold a while back. The wiring harness is fine. Its just a few lose wires that are worrying me. Since I know nothing about wiring I don't want to mess with it. And I didn't know that the wires were exposed or melted. I saw that right after I took my battery out. And then while doing that I saw a spark near my tranny. The car runs fine but I just want all the lose ends tied up. Also I need a place to bolt my fuse box to because its just hanging from the wires that go into it.

Here a video. You cant see much but you can see the fuse box just hanging there. I'll take some pictures tomorrow since Im off. Actually I'll go take some now. But I'll have to use a flash light.

Well I just looked at it again in the light and saw that its really not bad. I After I moved all the good wires out of the way I could see that the only melted/exposed wires were grounds like I thought (Kind of hard to tell at night) But I took all of them off and Im going to put a new big fat ass ground in its place and hopefully that will help.

I replaced the melted grounds with one fat ass ground and the car is working fine. The rest of the car is more of just putting zip ties on wires so that they aren't all over the engine bay. I also used a zip tie to hold my fuse box in place.

Zip ties are the aspiring young sons of Duct Tape.
