Yup....went out and got another car. The truck wasnt for me, stupid impulse buy, so I decided today was glorious and I solved that problem.
I picked up a 2006 Chevy HHR LT. Summit White, gray interior, bright chrome appearance package, automagical tranny, lotta other extras. Im back in my comfort zone and rocking another 4 popper of power only this time its with a very menacing 2.4L version!
So if any of yall need someone to go get your groceries or take you to CVS for your prescrption, im your man. See Jeremy or the master of mooning if you wanna go fast.
Pics later when i get my laptop back from HP warranty repair because it almost caught on fire!

Thank god you people dont actually live in my chapter.

I looked at those the other day...on my way to looking at Cobalts and G6s. They just scream "lower me, put 20-inch wheels on me, and fill me full of subwoofers and chrome...and I'll still be a paddy wagon." I can see the practicality of them for sure, but I don't think I like the style. Then again, I didn't sit in it, didn't drive it, and didn't give it a second thought.
I, too, am glad I don't live in your chapter area. ;) Congrats on the new car, though.

Tef... why didn't you come see me... I would've talked you into the new Inferno Red Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 I have sitting out front.
What's funny is I saw a guy in an HHR the other day (right by where we live). He was wearing his sun glasses and driving like he thought he was cool. All I was thinking was ho uncool he looked...
But you... in your Maui Jim's with your turf sandals... you'll be one hot b!tch in that.
I do agree it needs some oversized rims.
Oh well... when you get another car come see me. I'll sell you something good.
Good luck with the car... When we going out for steaks??

BTW... did you ever make it to WAWA?? What did you get there?
I'm currently sipping on my Wawa Diet Lemonade Iced Tea.... sooooo good. Ahhhh yes the WAWA...

I did make it to wawa...i decided to stay away from the coffee and I as well enjoy the freshness and wonder of the diet lemonade iced tea. I think its actually better then the regular.
I did check out your inventory online and I just wasnt feelin anything. Im not a go fast kinda guy and i dont like the drive/feel of the Liberty. If they came back with the cherokee though :)
On the bright side...Pro-motion tuning is gonna be carrying parts so im in luck eh?
Steaks for sure soon. Im not available this week, but we can definitely plan something. I can pick you up, i think my car would fit in nicely in your community :)

Aw Tef :)
It doesn't matter why I think anyway, it's your car
I just haven't been crazy about the few that I've seen on the road. Maybe if I took a closer look at one, sat in it, drove it, hauled some crap around for awhile I'd like it. It does look like a very functional vehicle.

Jeep Patriot... due out for 2007...
(FWD or 4x4 opt. with CVT trans, 2.4L I4. Fuel economy and off road capabilities if ya need)
I could've hooked you up... :)
You could definitely fit in here... you'd fit in better than I do, and I have to live here.
Just tell me a day, and we'll go... I'm off wed, and have short days on Fri and Sat... and of course sunday off too.

Hmm....i havent seen this jeep patriot. C'mon salesman......where was this pitch 2 days ago :)
I cant do this week like I said, but maybe the following week we will meet up for some grub/drinks and catch up. See if any of the other folks might be free/available to meet as well.
I think Hooven is in the area still? Pete lives close? Master of mooning might be down? Axio might be dead?
Try to plan for the 12th then? Even meet somewhere maybe more Freehold area?

I'm fine most days...
Friday, I get home around 7pm, and Sat 6pm... So if a weekend is better, I'm ok too.
I'm fine working for the 12th... I'm flexible.

Wooot.. Tef got another car..uhh..truck..uhh..ummm.. automobile!
Yea, let me know the day you guys wanna hit up a steakhouse or whatnot.. Freehold area is great for me also... Just installed my new exhaust so I need to show it off to some people who give a crap (ie. not my wife ;) ). Pics Biaaatch (http://www.mastamoon.com/lgt/borla)
Jeremy that Patriot looks tempting for replacing my wifes car.. any idea on pricing n stuff?

Looks nice... very stockish... I'm a fan of being sleeper.
I can't download the movie here to here it, but I'll try at home. How do you like the sound??
About cars... if you check out Jeep's home page you can see the Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot... both should start around $16k... AWD is an option.
You can also look at the Caliber AWD too if you want an inexpensive vehicle w/ AWD.
Plus the AWD comes with a CVT... so fuel mileage is a bit better.
Check out the Dodge Nitro... it's like a Jeep liberty on steroids.
I also have a bunch of used cars on the lot here that could be good...
So steaks next week... Let's pick a time and a place...

Car sounds nice... Maybe 2 clicks louder, but like 5 clicks deeper in tone. Stock Legacy GT is like dead silent (as you know) so even the quietest exhaust sounds way better.
Im good with like Outback Steakhouse or whatnot.. but if you guys know of a better place, im down with where ever. I get outta work round 4:30 and work right off the 33/34 circle in Wall so it would probably take me about 20 minutes or so to get to like route 9.

I'll have to get my bro to come around one time... Maybe you could take him for a quick ride.
If he feels more power... he'll probably really want to add something to his LGT...
Teflonworm
07-03-2006, 09:40 PM
Then we can add power to my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just thought Id share I drove 170 miles thus far and only used just under about 1/2 tank of gas
:wiggle:
If this was my truck...id be filling up already

or if that was a cou ... nevermind
Teflonworm

or if that was a cou ... nevermind
Yeah, if it was a cougar 1 of 3 things would have happened
1) The fuel pump would die
2) The Transmission would break (again)
3) Random CEL would appear
Hmm....V6 cougar rated at 170hp......my 2.4L 4cyl rated at 172hp. Ill be getting around 350-400 miles to a tank give or take my commute. I can haul passengers, move large items, and still have room for friends and a coffee that wont spill on my lap thanks to functional cup holders.
I share a platform with the cobolt so aftermarket (should i mod it) will grow quite a bit in the years to come. Its a growing market and platform unlike the cougar which is dead. Especially with the HHR SS due out next year. Wheres that cougar s?
I have a dealership that is willing to do anything for me versus the dealership I bought my cougar that basically as soon as I drove off the lot they never wanted to hear from me again.
Shall I keep going or can you just keep your dip**** comments out of my thread? Youre seriously starting to annoy me.

Yikes... Guess that hippy mobile is having adverse effects on you! hahaha ;)
so when's dinner guys?
pgtatx
07-13-2006, 12:13 PM
I could've sold you a new Caliber R/t AWD a 172hp 2.4L I4 also... but it has a CVT and AWD, plus you could've gotten some other cool options... OOOOOOOOOOOH
And you could've had whatever service you wanted... from reach arounds to Tea-baggings.
But nooooo... you had to buy the HHR...
Whatever man... we're in a fight... unless you drop off a WAWA Diet Lemonade/Iced Tea... Then maybe... just maybe... we'll be ok.
How's this weekend for Steaks... or maybe next week...
For me Wed, Fri, or Saturday evenings would be best...
MaStaMooN
07-13-2006, 01:23 PM
Id say we do a mid week thang since im already half way there. But id be down with a weekend thang also. Either way.

07-13-2006, 04:06 PM
Thanks for being so decisive... :gtfo:
BTW... I received a box on tues. It contained 4x PE850 injectors and 4x NGK Iridium IX 1 step colder plugs...
So, all I need is a fuel pump... then an install and a tune.
But I have a few other minor things I need to clear up first.
So... if it's this weekend... Fri or Sat night... works for me...

Shall we say next wednesday night?? Freehold area?
I heart the HHR......its actually pretty quick. Im surprised at how responsive and fun that 2.4 ecotec engine is.

07-14-2006, 01:25 PM
Ok Wed Night is fine with me... where in the freehold area to go???
What type of food? How expensive or cheap of a place??
I'm game for anywhere...
MaStaMooN
07-14-2006, 04:28 PM
Cheap for me is good... anything like Fridays, Applebees, Outback, etc...
Teflonworm
07-14-2006, 06:19 PM
Id vote for either Outback or Fridays. More likely Outback. Where is the one in Freehold located? Im really only familiar with Freehold Mall and Battlefield Orchards because they make delicious pie.
:wiggle:
pgtatx
07-15-2006, 10:12 AM
No Outback in Freehold...
So anywhere else would be fine...
You ever been to the Court Jester on Rt 79 in Freehold? It's about 7 min north of the mall off Rt 79, accesible from rt 537 off of Rt 9.
It's a chill place...
But Places like Chilis, Fridays, Applebees are just fine with me.
Teflonworm
07-15-2006, 06:32 PM
This court jester sounds interesting. Please tell me more.
pgtatx
07-15-2006, 09:31 PM
It's a restaurant/Bar right in town near the hall of records in Freehold.
It's a chill place to go. I used to hang out there on weekends every so often. Wed night it shouldn't be too bad. Food's pretty good, and they have a large drink selection.
Basically a cool little, old style place.

So Wed is fine with me... and if not, the Friday or Sat night...

07-19-2006, 11:17 AM
