I think it would be pretty easy to keep track of what cougar's run what times if we all just post our times herehttp://www.dragtimes.com/results.php?carmodel=506&op1=%3E%3D&data1=1999&search2=et&op2=%3C%3D&data2=&days=10000000&carmake=31&name=Search+DragTimes

I wish the new Cougars were listed separately from the original... and also the time stamp displayed on the summary page. It's difficult to tell if there have been any new submissions.
On a different note... when will a new Cougar break into the top 10 monopoly that the old Cougars control?

If you go by MPH i'm 8th. :)
If i could ever get my house built and get me a garage again i would finish up my 3L and put a 150 shot on it. That would prolly get me into the top 10.

Near stock MTX 2.0L @ 17.024 new intake W/ DIY weight reduction ie. front passenger seat, misc. 40lbs of stuff, 20lb sub, and spare tire (still wasn't a good run because of driver error)
but I'll post it on your site when I find my time ticket.
the weight reduction shaved off 3 tenths of a second
the whole need for speed aspect of life is getting to me, but gas prices are determining how long I delay my projects.
I already plan on sinking 5K-9K in my car just to have the most unique/rare sleeper (besides tricked out E-150 econolines and Chevy Caprice Wagons... which might be in the near future)
a 12 sec car isn't too lofty a goal is it ?
well, basically as fast as to not need a roll cage to race.

i'd say you need to learn to drive, because i know for a fact that a stock svt contour can run that time

Ill run both of you all for 20 bucks a piece. However, I will not be running stock tires :)
BTW, that time was many months and "mods" ago , but sure let me know when you guys would like to lay some cash down. Gas is too expensive these days to waste it :-p

the weight reduction shaved off .3 and you still ran over a 17? man, you are a horrible driver. in my stock zetec I ran a 16.7 w/o weight reduction
