Hi guys, I've got quick question about the CD4-E Transmission. I'm looking to increase reliability (not necessarily performance, but if something will help, then thats a plus of course). I've found numerous rebuild kits, but only 3 companies that I can find make kits that seem to improve the tranny beyond OEM strength.

Level 10
Axiom
Transgo

The level 10 work seems the most expensive, and most involved, but is probably not the most cost effective solution for the ATX. I dont think the CD4-E is that bad of a transmission really, as long as your using a tranny cooler.

Axiom has improved Valve body kits and overhaul kits, but I can't find much information to the extent of what they modify. If anyone has some information on them, I would love to hear from you.

And third, the transgo JR setup, that seems inexpensive at less then $50 shipped, fixes issues, and can probably be usesd with parts from axiom or even level 10. If anyone has a transgo setup for sale they never used, i'd love to buy one from you, the internet retailers seem hard to purchase from (maybe i'm just retarded at 12am i dunno).

Mainly this long post was just to get your opinions on the different options (mainly using the transgo kit along with a modified axiom Valve Body and/or a higher stall torque converter). While i'm on that question, is it possible to have a higher stall torque converter only at certain times? (basically like a tranny brake i suppose). Thanks!
