Driving to work this morning on 675s right before it merges into 75s I passed a coug with C O U G A R spread across the trunk and some bright headlights and clear side markers. I think it was an 01-02 but not sure. I didn't recognize the driver, was wondering if anyone of you know who this was?

Sounds like a stock anniversary edition. Or C2 or some special edition; they came stock like that.
Which one was it? 35th?

I didn't know anything had clear side markers stock since I thought that was one of the things that was DOT regulated, I might be wrong on that though. The headlights definately weren't stock, they looked brighter than my Silverstars - possibly even HID.

Yeah the clear sides came from the factory on SOME models...

Spread out C O U G A R on the hatch and clear sidemarkers is 35th Anniversary, IIRC.
Sidemarkers can be clear with amber bulbs 'cause the amber reflector regulations are only on the front corners, sidemarkers are kind of like an extra.

That was a 35th alright. It should've also had some really pretty 17" rims and a fake hood scoop, visteon wing. What color was it? I've seen two other 35th's since I've been in Columbus. A red one I raced (and won ;) ) and another Satin Silver with some little hottie in it. Wasn't me, I don't do mornings. ;)
Btw... I saw you the other day Mark in the Tempo. I was in a white Stratus though but I still waved! I don't think you saw me.

This was another Satin Silver (looks just like yours), with a curly haired blonde driving it. I didn't get to see her face since i was driving much faster than the flow of traffic since I was borderline late (close enough to not late that speeding can make it ok).

Whow knows, I wish I had gotten a good look at her. I hate to have missed a CUTE blonde (seen plenty of not cute ones though).

:rofl: Par for the course, someone sees me and it's in the Tempo, not a shiny Laser Red Cougar. White Stratus? Nope, missed you. I'm usually lost in my own little world, and only Tempos, 'Tours, and Cougars get my attention :rolleyes:
