Okay, so I got the call today. I may be starting a job in Indianapolis as early as July 10th. Castleton area.
I need info from folks about Indy and the Castleton area. I've been through a billion times, and visited a number, but it's been a while. Places and areas to avoid, where to look for a home, a good real estate agent...all of it. And I need it quick. :)
Commence assistance, please.

Don't live in Indy but I know that there is a couple of
people that do. I'm pertty sure they could help

I don't think we have any active members in Indy anymore
I don't know enough about Indy to recommend any neighborhoods anyhow

WTF? Home of Cougarfest, located dead center of the state, and no one there represents? Lame, Hoosier NECO. Really lame.
I guess I got spoiled up here in the Motor Cities. ;)

well i live in the north end and metallicougs lives in the south end and madgeo is in lafayette.
Castleton is a good area. thats where the expensive mall is. A buddy of mine lived on 96th street and it was a nice area, and its a little north of castleton, iirc

I'm moving down on Sunday. I'm renting a house for three weeks before I can take possession of my new house in Fishers, IN on August 3rd. I start my job on Monday. I'm off Friday through Sunday every week, though these next couple weeks I'll be driving back here to Michigan since my wife and kids aren't following me down until we can move into our house.
And I WILL represent. Back home again...

When do you do get to Indy and get settled in, we can try and arrange a meet. It will probably be a small one, but could be fun.

hmmmm do we wanna try and set a date now, or wait until August?
DagerOne
07-20-2006, 07:22 PM
Would late August work better? I was thinking September to give me some time to settle in...but that was also working under the assumption that I would host, and that doesn't have to be the case. *shrugs*

Does anyone have anything to do, anyway? For me, I've got an SVT LIM to dismantle, clean, straighten a bent butterfly, optimize (?), reassemble and install. I'm also hoping to have a new front bumper with fogs to install as well as a fog-capable switch and relay. If I could get my hands on the rest of the SVT Lite upgrade parts before then it would be nice, but I don't have any leads on that stuff yet.

First part of August is out because kids go back to school the 12th and thats those weekends up til then will be spent back to school shopping.
It doesn't have to be a mod meet, it could be a welcome to Indy dinner. . .

that could work for me if i have it open that is. Mods arent an issue for me, i can do them anytime. If he can get his svt stuff that would take no time at all to do, esp if he does some pre assembly

NeverSatisfied02
07-24-2006, 09:45 PM
Yea that was me i have sold all of that stuff and now i am working on 6-15" fusion powerplant subs. I have 4 right now but i am trying to get two more in there before ITB this year. I have two audiobahn a4125hct amps running them and small audiobahn amps running the rest of the sounds. I am changing out the amps for all fusion equipment because i am trying to get sponsered by them.

I could have an Indy meet. The new house has a 3-car garage, and we could just move my car and my wife's to the driveway or the street if we need to. The driveway slopes too much to do any work there, though. Nice deck in the back for a barbeque, too. :)

So anybody want to set an official date before the end of summer?
DagerOne

I don't need a ton of notice. I have three day weekends (Friday to Sunday) every week so I have a day to prepare on short notice. :)
