View Full Version : Dash Cover
I have a dash cover I'm trying to get out of my closet, so if anyone wants it I'll sell it for $10 plus shipping and handling. It retails for about $40, by the way. Pictures are below.
EDIT: Shipping is approx. $10

wow I didn't even know they made those... where do you get them from, because I don't necessairly think I need it right now, but if I decide to paint my dash or something down the road I wouldn't mind having it then!
It came with the car when I bought it used. I took it off about 2 days later, because I didn't like the way it looked and my friends ragged on me about it. I also think it was put there to cover up the big ass gap between my dash and my middle air vents. Whether that is normal or not... I don't know.

something that ugly I would just throw away since it has no place on a car . I'm sorry that thing is just plain ****ing ugly.

Yeah I'm contemplating it, but my buddy has one in his BMW and he swears that it's the only reason his dash hasn't cracked yet (he drives an '87 325i).
I figure someone will get some use out of it.

well the reason that I can see why I'd buy it is my car is becoming a spring and summer vehicle only and during the other months to cover my dash would be nice! As well as I know people on here talk about having a towel cover there dashes if they paint if to prevent the glare in the windshield! I could see this being better than a towel! I wouldn't use it for driving if glare wasn't a problem, but for storage and hot days in the sun I would say this would be beneficial!

it seems like it would make things worse since it is so thick and heavy. The heat would still be in the vehicle creating warping, cracking even though direct sunlight (causing fading) would not be on the dash. I don't think it would help protect the dash at all (except maybe from fading) and would cause more damage by possibly sticking to the dash after long periods.

Actually, I'd highly doubt it weighs over a pound.
First with $20 can have it.
first with $15 can have it
(practically $5 plus shipping)
