You need a headlight switch with fog-lights to do this mod.
Tools Needed:
small flathead screw driver
dremel with small grinding wheel
Masking tape
First, remove the headlight switch from the car.
Second, seperate all the parts and take the orange tube and remove the grey connector from the orange body
Mask the holes off on the top/front of switch to keep springs from flying off.
Now, push the black switch out slightly and remove the tape slowly. Set the springs and ball bearings to the side. push the black switch sll the way out.
Now that you have the orange body in hand secure it face down and grind away the two raised sections where circled in red there is a tab down each side of the tube, this it the farthest point along the raised piece you want to grind. you will grind the raised section down to the outer ring height or just slightly below. DO not grind at the outer ring. put your switch back together and check your work before completly assembling your switch. you should get one more click to the left and you should have to slightly push in the switch to reach this position.
Congrats you can now use the bottom pin closest to the drivers side for whatever you want. see pic pin 1. You must use a relay to convert to switched power, this is a ground output and must use a relay. visit www.the12volt.com for more info on switching the polarity
