Which should I get next? SVT TB? MSDS headers? Tint? I CAN'T DECIDE!

Here's why I can't decide. I just got an SVT UIM, so I now need the TB. People say headers make the biggest difference on our cars, so I definatly want those. But yet my car is all blacked out except for the windows-they ruin the look of the car.

So which do you think I should do!? I'm stumped :(

Yeah, I would say tint, and the TB. The headers are way more expensive, and a pain to install.

i'm going to say headders... only because its the most expensive, and if you can afford it now, you can get it out of the way! :)

Well, I can't afford anything right now. I'm going to have to save for anything on the list lol. So, between just tint and TB you all would say TB first?

Speaking of which does anyone know of a good place around c-bus for tint. Oh, and to hijack this thread some more, Aaron where did you get your old kit painted, and were you happy with their work?

I'll have to look that up for you Dan. I remember it cost $385 for the front alone. The sides and rear I got in black. But the paint was beautiful, and never had any complaints with it.

But I got all my go-fast stuff out of the way first. All I need now is headers; and I don't have those yet because of the cost issue.

And I still haven't tinted my windows yet!

I second that question....my paint is on the way here to make my headlight fixtures smoked chrome, and I'm ordering tailight covers...so all I need is a good tint and she'll look sweeeeet.

Aaron, I vote tint first, TB second (but it's close!), then headers. You don't HAVE to have the TB to put on the UIM, so you can get some benefit, even if it's small. Tint will make the black Coug look hot, but not feel hot :) and it's summer in Ohio. But if you save up the $100 or so for the TB and feel it call your name, go for it.

Yes, I could use a tint recommendation as well. I'd like to eventually tint the Coug and the 'Tour - tint looks good on Laser and Toreador Red :evil:

A paint recommendation would be useful too - more concerned about quality than price.

ColumbusRacing highly recommends Quality Tint and Mr. Tint. I've heard a lot of good things. I'll be going to Quality Tint here soon enough, it's time. ;) I'll let you guys know.

Dudes, there is a Ziebart in Marion that does AWESOME tint for 120 all windows on cougar besides front. I mean 5 windows for 120 in 20%!!! Yeah Im serious, paying anything over 150 is NUTS!!!!!!
Aaron, TB then Headers for sure. You could do tint if you tried for like 20 bux. You ll mess up a few times so get someone elses car to practice on then do yours.

$159 @ quality tint. That's not that bad, it's a lifetime warranty. If it cracks/bubbles or whatever they'll fix it free. Eh. It sounds about right to me.
