Cam sprocket Q

Is the stock 99-2000 2.5 cam sprocket the same as the 3L I need to know if the 3L timing components need to be used or the 2.5L.

What cams do you want to use??? I take it you want to use the 3L cams in your 2.5L.... The 3L cam sprockets are narrow and the 2.5L are wide, so you need to match it that way.
