OK I was talking with my friends friend(As. Manager) at Rimco & he said he needs about 3-4 cars in a show on Sunday July 9th in the Live Oak Civic Center off 1604N & I-35 & he said he liked mine so he asked if I wanted to be in it So of course I accepted his offer, so I wanted to know if there's any possibility for someone to have the time off to help me install some Wonderful Blue Coilovers :disgust:?
I don't want to sound like a biotch but this is my first car show to attend & I WILL be posting pics to post in the Vids/Pics section.
(PLease no Wh0ring in this section, Seriously cause this is Important to me, Thanks)

Yea I know one weekend, The guy @ RimCo said he knows someone that could do it but $30 Ea one so he's talking $120 for all of them! F that I'd drive to Abilene instead, It be $60 for gas & another $20 for John & I'd still save $40. But yea Robbie thats fine just let me know. If it doesn't happen I'd have to put larger rims on it like 18's GM or Hyperblk's w/Chrome Lip instead.

you should let him do them for 30$ per tire(make sure you get it in writing first) and then laugh at him when it takes him super long time. no one realizes how big a deal the grinding is, it really is a time consuming PITA those coilovers dont even come close to fitting stock struts, it took me the better part of a day and that was with a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder and metal grinding wheels. honestly 30 a tire is a super price.i usually charge 25 per tire until i put on a set of those. now i wont charge a dime for them cause i dont want to be responsible if somethin goes wrong. "helpers" aren't held liable...lol

I'd be more then willing to help, but since you got those CO I would take up the offer of $120 cause you don't want me getting mad at your coil overs cause they don't fit right and then you'll be stuck in Abilene with no cougar

would u have to grind if u got coilovers that are made for cougars. and iv been told by a buddy of mine that the ajustable coilovers never actually seat. so sombody with a set could be driving lopsided in two or three months of use. i know iebach (however its spelled) makes a kit that fits 00-01 cougars

Lop sided  that's not going to happen since the sleeve rests on the weld of the strut. When the car is dropped it will be leveled unless you screwed up the thread count on how low you went for each side  That won't be an issue...

eibach never produced the 01-02 kit. they were going to but for whatever reason never made it around to it.

 Yea that would suck now wouldn't it! It's more of reason on because I haven't taken a Road trip beyond 80miles+ in since I had around 75-85K miles on the car so I guess I'd be abit edgy cause It has 102,*** miles now on it.

I've seen a lot of questioning lately with the new people. Like we are trying to lie to them or something

yeah i noticed too, and if you need more proof go here: http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe/001195.1.2541630603900016005

to the official eibach website. notice that when you select either 99 or 00 from the drop down menu, mercury is listed. notice then that when you select 2001 or 2002 from the drop down menu, mercury is NOT listed. so i guess whoever you ordered the kit from has some explaining to do huh?
