im looking at changing form a 2.0L to the 3.0L and theres some doubt on weither the transmitions are the same ( casing and mounts) or if i would have to get one from a 2.5L...i think i heard they were the same but have also head otherwise...any info would be welcome

I will go out on a limb here and say two things. 1: different bell-housings (mount) 2: Final drive gear.
Thats all i know.

I will have a Focus Zetec MTX-75 in my possession tomorrow (out of a car). Not sure if that is even the same as a Cougar Zetec MTX-75 (but I know it's different then a Cougar Duratec MTX-75. I'd be glad to post some pictures of it if any one wants to figure out all of the differences....

there its corrected ...and mod is right..i later learned that its the bellhousing thats different;)
