Three strikes and I think I'm out!! (long)

Well, for the 3rd time I've tried to get the headers installed to no avail. The first, Dan ,Trevor and myself decided not to proceed due to to the complications of the ATX model (tranny mount, tight bolts). Second, a local exhaust shop said "yeah we can do it...4-5 hours + 200.00-300.00 " next thing I know, "no we can't do it..it's illegal"...Lastly Altered Atmosphere last Friday gave me an estimate of 4-5 hours + 250.00 to 400.00 MAX...OK cool. I go for my 9:30 appointment this morning, drop it off and WALK around Gaithersburg all day waiting, and finally at 2pm they call and say it's going to take ATLEAST 1.5 days 600.00-800.00. They say they have to basically take the enginge out to install the headers. Man was I PISSED!!! What disappointment. I know it's not that long of a job. I don't know what the hell to do with these headers!! Dan, with air tools, you think you would be willing to take another crack at it. I would understand if you decline, so don't feel obligated.

Try SPMotorsports ... they work on Contours all the time and should have no problems installing them.
