I am in the process of figuring out exactly what I'll be getting for my 3L swap. However, I have never seen a 3L and would love to get a ride in one around our area. I live in Bowie, MD, is anyone really close? I guess a PM might be easiest.

It looks like a 2.5L unless you go with oval ported heads.

Has a bit more of a kick than a '01-'04 Mustang.

I bet you meant v6, however v6 mustangs are slow. 01-04 V8 vs. built 3L (split port) with svt or fastroad cams = keeps up with stock mustang v8's

No I meant V8s. I beat V6s with my 2.5L. They are a joke. Mind you the new V6s are a different story. My hybrid felt more powerful than my best friend's/bro's '02 GT.

Probably a combination of the power to weight.

oh cool! Yea.. were they both manuals or autos? Course, trans. makes the same different to them as it does to our cars. 260hp + 3400? pounds vs. 240-280hp (crank) + 2700-3000 = even or better.

They got a little pep to them, and mines pretty much stock on junkyard plugs!
