3.0 escape intake question?

if i buy a short ram intake for the 2.5 off a cougar will it fit on my 05 ford escape w/ a 3.0?:confused:
if so im gonna look for a used one on here...thanx

it should, it fit on the escape intake i had on my 3L

It will attach to the TB ok but will be alittle tight since the coupler is made for the stock 2.5 diameter instead of the 60mm size of the escape tb. the only problem you would run into is that there might be something blocking the path of the pipe and filter. I don't know the layout of the escape engine bay so I can't say for sure, but make sure the battery, fuse box, or something else isn't in the way of the filter and pipe. The bracket that keeps it in place may also need to be changed since it may have different mounting points.
