Cougars in town and on lots for sale

I'm going to be working on a cougar this weekend for a dealership, it's going up for sale for $8500...it's an 00, grey leather, black, fresly painted bumper and hood.....pretty clean, with 113,000 KMS on it. Has traction, V6, but it's an auto...sorry Mike (I could have got a good price "as is" on it). One thing thats weird...there is a single CD player in the dash....and a stock 6 disc in the trunk....I have never seen a cougar with BOTH. Usually it's the tape deck in the front with the 6 disc....anyone here seen that?

Anyway, do you guys notice many cougars in your areas?

I see a TONNE around London lately, and none are at dealerships or for sale...all on the road. Only lousy part is whenever I see them I'm driving Christines grand am.

I'm seeing them everywhere right now...It's actually kinda buggin me a little...One of the reason I bought the car was because you don't see em all that much...I saw a Dark Blue one for the very first time the other night...Thats a gorgeous colour on the car...Thow a pearl coat on top of that. :cool:

In london over the past 3 weeks I've seen:

3-4 01/02's all red
1 - 01 grabber green
2-3 99/00 DT greens
4-5 99/00 black
1 cirtus gold
1 melina blue
2 LSB's
at least 4 silvers from 99 up
..and a spruce being driven by a lady who was at least 70.

Oh, and 1 rio red with painted headlights and a visteon hoodscoop, he had a "simply domestic" sticker in his rear window and I couldn't find a pen and paper to save my life.

I guess thats the name of the colour...I just say a Midnight blue like on the Contours the first couple of years they were out.

And whats with all the old people driving them...I see a Coug on the highway and I wanna pull up next to them to give a thumbs up and BAM....They're all wrinkled and stuff.

I don't have a prob with it, but man...is the Cougar starting to get Buick Century status or something?

I think it's people hitting their "I need a sporty car" syndrome and with the cost and look of the cougar it's the way to go. After all...it was designed for the female 35+ market.

i've noticed it too...before i had the coug there was only two both 2.5 silverfrost ( one stock the other with bad badging all over it)

now theres easily seven but all stock ranging from silverfrost to melina blue to all the reds...

Yes the head unit and 6 disc changer in the trunk all work as one system. I'm pretty sure they are shown in the owners manual in the same configuration.

2 spruce (one was goose)

1 toulamine green
4 silvers including mine
2 saphire blue

right nw there is a guy on the north end of town putting a drift kit on his car...it is the one off the zinc yellow cougar i had seen around town..looks pretty crazy right now a rio with yellow bumpers...i have to stop and drop him a note..

lately the only ones i have seen for sale were 3 blacks ones..

no idea which one, my boyfriend told me about it, i might just go check it out tonight
