Need some help this weekend or next weekend?

Yo, anybody wanna help me take apart my dash, paint that b*tch, and put it back together this weekend or next weekend? Hee hee hee.

When this weekend or next....I might be able to (plus, I live close) . I just painted mine, but I will not help take off the passenger side vent......I couldn't get it out so I basically just grabbed it and tore it out. I had an extra piece so I figured why not.

whats up with you guys and the passenger vent??? I am the dash expert here.... heheh I've only dis-assembled my dash 4 times now... last time I did it it was in under 6 minutes... I'm able to do it pitcrew style now.... i/expressions/devil.gif

For the passenger side vent you take a flat head screw driver and insert it into the 5 'o clock and 7'o clock positions to depress the tiny tabs and it will popp right out.... any other dash questions feel free to IM or e-mail me.... i/expressions/smile.gif

Thanks to Pikachuuuu for the idea of painting the defroster vent and the tiny slatted passenger vent... looks sweet on my car....

Jeff & Pika - what kind of paint did you use?? Did you put a clearcoat on??

I used hi temp paint(because i did the vents and they dont make the right color of regular paint)
and i put 5 or 6 clear coats to shine em up and make the paint harder.
WOW JEFF that looks damn good maybe you can redo mine i seem to like to leave drips!

Jenny..... there is a brand of paint made by Nascar that I think would match up closely to your car color.... its called Sage Pearl Metallic... unless of course you were looking to find a accent color like Purple or something.... Heather (carchk7) says that Duplicolor makes a chromalusion paint that comes in a can.... that would be killer cool too... i/expressions/devil.gif

Ok, I think I'm gonna go to Crispy's next weekend and paint the dash. It's gonna look GREAT!!! WOO HOO! This weekend I'm goin to Pika's and we're gonna build a custom sub enclosure. I'll post pics!!!
