I need your help again Fellow PA'ers

ive been reading the tire forum on what tires work good for what .......

well right now i have Fuzion ZRI in a 215/45/17 .....well the front are about bald but the back still got life

the reason i posted here is because this car will be driven in the winter and only us in PA know what the weather can get like......

I wanna buy some all seasons and id like not to pay more than 120 per tire

Basically i want the best bang for the buck ....i hate tire noise and id like them to not wear down to fast, and ride smooth, and grip good lol etc..i normally drive in the 55-88 mph range but i have been known to go faster.... i know im picky lol

Here are some of my choices...
Fuzion HRi
Kumho Ecsta ASX
Goodyear Assurance Triple thread
Toyo Proxes 4

Can anybody give me any input if you used these tires and how you liked them or if you got some other choices let me know

Since i live in PA i feel that you guys would know best about all seasons lol so any input would be nice

Thanks
Erik

i have Winterforce tires i got from tirerack on my oldsmobile still on from winter. They were great in the winter and are doing awesome still. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Winterforce&tireModel=M%2BS

The grip is incredible even on an olds. They havent worn a whole lot yet and ive put on a good 10,000 miles since december. I think i paid 170ish for all 4 tires total.

I will also say the WinterForce are great. I have them on my stock 16's for winter rims/tires. Last year i plowed my way down my driveway with these things. It was really little slow and up the the fog lights but still.

They do make some in 17". Just tirerack doesn't list them. Try looking at Bridgestones website (maker) and see the sizes. Good luck.

They do make it 17" too

Try these. (http://www.nokiantires.com/newsite/tires_popup.cfm?id=6)

Not only will they handle your wussy PA winters, but they can handle and upstate NY winter. (Actually, quite a few, since they are guaranteed for 70K miles.)
