OK I was pondering around & wanted to know will a Optima Battery fit since it is already a very tight squeeze? I know they fit in V6 Cougars but never really noticed them in Zetec Cougars. I have a Duralast Battery but I can't blast the radio(Car off) for more then 8mins till its dead :disgust:
Heres why I'm asking look @ the pics below & see if it'll fit.

Yeaps.... It'll fit, I got a red top in mah car myself. Your tie down bracket will fit a little tight, but it'll fit regardless.

Can you post a pic cause the durlast is a pretty small battery. Where did you get your red top Optima at & how much?
Thanks

No pic to post. Trust me it'll fit. Bought from a local shop that deals with alts and other electrical whatnots. Umm. I think I got it for $80?

You can go to Optima's site and look at the dimension of the different Red Tops and just measure and make sure.
