Well first off my girlfriend was driving since I got a big chunk of class through my right foot. A bunch of us were on our way to a baseball field on a back road to play some ball (me watching) and I seen this very low white car passing a bunch of other cars ahead of me and my cousin. My cousin was ahead and called me and said it was a Ford GT. Hes got a little Chevy S10 so we passed about 5 cars to catch up to the GT and on the last car my girlfriend passed the car and my cousin to get right behind the GT.

We waited for a straight away and she gunned it and flew right past him. My cousin I guess was in too much in awe or just scared to try. He let us stay ahead for about 5 miles then another long straight away came up so she gunned it again and I heard the revving behind us and we looked over and he flew past us with a big smile hahaha. It was great not too many people can say they passed then got repassed by a Ford GT

ah the GT what a voluptuous effin car. i saw one yesterday on I-4

Yellow w/ black stripes. he saw my car and the guy next to me (Supra TT) and he roared right past us.

we just kinda slowed down and then had to clean our cars when we got back to our side of town.

I saw one on the highway yesterday on the way to a mass/conn meet.

I play with cars like these just to get them to downshift and fly off, it makes me very happy.

The sound those GT's make is ungodly, and should be listened to only in moments needing extreme pleasure.

is this the first time someone's posted a road tale about doing a ricer flyby?

Probably not. Having spent some time with Lotus and Ferrari owners it's always entertaining to see these stories from their point of view. Often the downshift and blast away isn't to show off their car, it's an attempt to put distance between themselves and cars they don't feel comfortable driving anywhere near.

Yea I figured he would see us trying to pass and just floor it or like he did let us get ahead and wait for the right time and blow us away it was an awesome sight and sound. It was an older guy with his wife, he didnt pass anyone else after so we got to stare at his ass end the rest of the way lol. Its fun to play with a car of your dreams

He'd need to start with something smaller . . . like a vacuum line . . .

I'm certainly not comparing my car to a GT, BUT, like Sonza said, people with cars like that sometimes "race" away just to get the **** away from other cars driven by rubbernecking idgits just so they don't have to deal with the rubes. I'll often do the same thing in my car.

rubbernecking idgits....Wow whats the big deal we passed him then he flew past us with a smile, It was a rush. Damn its not like I was trying to run him off the road or screwing with him the entire time he didnt fly off after he passed us anyway. Its the first time ive done something like that. We gave him a reason to gun it and have a little fun with a car thats nothing to it. I know you guys are so much better than newbs sh*t I wish I could be perfect........ :banghead:

those cars where only supposed to sell for $150K but most dealerships are selling them for over $200K, i rode in one with my g/f's stepdad when they came out cause he works at a dealership and those things are crazy fast, but the ceiling in the car is so small, if your over 5'10, (me being 6'0) you kinda gotta duck your head down!
