Okay, scrupul0us, nothing will ever get planned if no one makes any decisions.
So, I'm making a decision!
This Summer's One Big Empire NECO Meet will be July 29th.
I suggest a barbeque at a campground or someone's house. Or a road trip to Brooks'. We had a barbecue down near retom7's area a couple years ago that went well.
Once we figure out what we're doing, we can let Keystone, LI, and Mass/Conn know. Maybe get some actual people there! Perhaps even a couple of Western NY'ers who have defected to Ontario NECO.

I say we have it at the same place we did 2 years ago... that was a great time. Plus, I can guarantee a better show from our side at least.

that kids house was like what 1.5 - 2 hours from albany? we cant even get members to drive 45 minutes - 1 hour for a meet let alone that... i'd def come though

Nah it wasn't at his house... it was at a park in Hyde Park, right near Poughkeepsie I think.

Carajo- quick thing. July 29th is the day that they have the huge car show in syracuse, the sport compact & Truck Blast. May cause a conflict w/people coming to the meet. We could always try to tie the meet in w/that? As something to do. Just an idea. Amanda

Welcome to Empire. Ask everyone when they're available, take the results, pick a day, and there are still problems, and nothing ever gets planned. **** it. See new thread for poll.

Hey ladies and gents. I'd be up for a meet then. I'm not very familiar with upstate so I'll keep an eye open for updates. Hopefully more from LI Neco will come :) .
