so im thinking of putting a 3L in, i've found a 99 Taurus engine and i was just wondering if i could get a bit of help as of now i know i'de need to find
- motor mounts
- 2.5 wiring harness
- new plumbing ( radiator ect.)
- exhuast
- intake
- sct tuning
- 2.5 subframe ( thank you instigator)
those are the things i know but i was wondering what i would need from the 2.5 to make it work.....any advise would be welcomed....

you will have to custom fab some motor mounts. need the 2.5 wiring harness, plumbing for the radiator won't be that big of a deal. intake and exhuast is an easy swap too (just buy em for the v6). but depending on the price of all this, it might be worth it to you to turbo your i4. the zetecs have a lot of potential, but then again, not sure how much it will cost u for the engine and all the fab work. good luck with it though

unless you are going to do a hybrid swap (3L block/2.5L heads) then stay away from '99 MY three liters. look for an '01 or '02 escape block and you'll be golden.

so for wat im doing the escape engine would be better or i should just find a block from the escape to go with my taurus engine?

i misworded my last post. use a FULL escape 3L.
