Hey folks,

I have been trying to get a group buy going with trubendz.com for a month or so now. Instead of a group buy, Josh is going to have a sale from June 12th to the 26th.

10% off the standard kits, but unfortunately, not the resonated kits

Here is the e-mail he wrote me:

Your e-mail couldn’t have come at a better time. Believe it or not, I
saved
the last e-mail about a month back and was meaning to contact you.

We're going to set up a Group Buy, or rather a "discount period". We've
found it's easier to just lower the prices for a window period than
start
"lists" and deposits, etc.

Here's the deal, the period will run for 2 weeks. We will start it on
Monday
June 12th. And run it until Monday June 26th. All "standard" kits will
be
reduced 10%. This does not include tubing kits, y-pipes, testpipes, or
resonated kits. This does include 3 inch (standard) kits.

There is no minimum to start and anyone can order. We will adjust the
prices
on our website so anyone can order, ANYTIME. We will ship orders as
regular... no delays. HOWEVER, we cannot predict overall sales,
therefore;
any orders made late in the period might be delayed until kits are done
being made (possible 1-2 weeks). We have most kits in stock now.

Finally, this will also tie in with Cougar exhaust kits. So please feel
free
to pass the word to NECO (FastCougar Forums).

Let me know if I might have missed anything.

I've been on the verge of ordering a new exhaust for a month... very glad I dragged my feet... I'll be giving them a call next week.

What is the difference between a standard kit and a resonated kit?

This does not include tubing kits, y-pipes, testpipes, or
resonated kits. This does include 3 inch (standard) kits.
So when he talks about 3in piping the wording is a bit tricky. This means all the piping diameters and not just 3in correct? I've been told 3in piping is a bit large for most cougars.

He is just saying that the 3" kits are also on sale.

3" is only for F/I basically.

That’s not much of a discount but at least it will counteract the shipping cost, but then again a discount is a discount. I am always happy to save money. I am currently debating ordering a dual exit kit myself.

Does the sale include the Hi-Flow Cats?

What do you think if I live in the South (FL-GA) and never plan on moving to where this snow, SS or Alum? Also should I go with a Test Pipe or Hi-Flow Cat? (Will that affect emissions testing if I move my permanent address to GA and have to get them tested?)

Indeed I have read the thread multiple times. I wasn't sure about the cat because it is often lumped in with the testpipes being that they are substitues. Thus the reason for my question.

This is what I understood, although reading back at my other posts it doesn't seem that way.

Yeah I'm about to get one and now have the cash but it's not too much more now than it was during the discount period.
