Would anyone be interested in having prints of shots I (or others) take made on the spot? My brother has a nice photo printer that's pretty small and produces VERY nice output - and I've been looking for an excuse to get one of my own. ;)
What I'm thinking is that I could get it, get some supplies, and charge maybe 75 cents or so per 4x6 photo. I'm not looking to turn this into a business; it'd just be nice to help offset the cost of this printer. My wildest dream would be that I break even, which would be about 240 pictures at $0.75/each. I seriously doubt there would be enough interest for that to happen, but a more realistic number of prints sold would be ... what? 5? 20? 100?
I think I could carry the printer in my camera bag, or at least have it in the car, so it'd always be nearby, ready to roll.
Note - this would only be 4x6 prints. It's possible to set up a way to do larger prints, but it'd be a lot more expensive both in purchasing equipment and the per-print price, and it'd be a LOT harder to do anywhere like I could with the 4x6s. If there is a LOT of interest in this angle, it'd be something for me to think about for next year.
I'm just looking for opinions - let me have 'em, positive or negative. :)
Thanks.
