hey everyone i'm Greg i just bought a white 1999 cougar v6 5 speed, and i am very pleased with it for only 4300 bucks. my car has 95,000 miles on it, and i was wondering what kind of things should be replaced while coming up to 100k miles (belts, hoses, etc.) thanks for any help guys

Depends on how old some of those parts are....
If its the original serpentine belt that could stand to be changed, Fuel filter should have been changed at 50k and might need it again. Could be the original on it or some one might have just thrown one on... Probably worth checking how old your Plugs and wires are also.
Theres a ton of things you can check to like inspecting the hoses for cracking and or dry rot. Some of your fluids might be due for changing id have to find the book to check tranny fluid recomendations.
