just wondering........might be a stupid question but does the focus svt 6 spd bolt to the 2.5?

im guessing it does bolt up then? i just thought the 6 spd may help to get that tach to drop when cruising around at speed. it just seems like its geared too low?

Get a 6MT out of an STi... now there's a trans (gearing is still rather poor though, but it's strong as an Ox).

Even if it did it isn't rated for the torque our cars output. There was some talk a while back about it. There was questions on whether it would hold up to a modded Cougar/Contour. I have to believe there are highly modded SVT focus' out there that are testing the limits of them though. There is actually a 6 speed from the Mondeo that would bolt up and was pretty much made for our cars. Goodluck getting one shipped over here from Europe though. Get the AWD system from one shipped over also. :)
