I'll be changing up my stereo a bit and won't be using my old head unit. My new one is a double din and therefore will not be able to use my head unit bezel.
It's designed and made by yours truly out of solid aluminum. It's designed to be used in the panel from my 1999 cougar. So unless the dimensions changed at all for any of the other panels from the other year cougars i can't see it not fitting them.
Some trimming will need to be done to the tabs on the panel it's mounted to. But it's very minor and will take only a couple seconds. I will provide pics of what i'm talking about if needed. Also, you will not be able to reuse the two screws that hold the panel onto the dash where the head unit is mounted. There is no way to get to them.
I didn't like any of the other bezels on the market for the cougar and none of them really do much to help support the head unit. So i designed it to not only fill the empty space around the head unit, but to also provide a place to mount the head unit securely.
I will also be providing the bolts i used to mount the bezel to the panel.
It is completely flat and will not match the contours of the panel. However with a little fiberglass and body work it can be molded to the panel to look like one piece. I also milled a step into the opening that which you install the head unit to sink it in some so it doesn't stick out.
Graphic on it is painted on and can be sanded off. This has also been cleared.
I'm asking $35 plus cost of shipping for it and its first come first serve.

Edit: I picked it up from my storage locker today and found some damage on it that i thought i should say something about. On the left of the pic is a scratch. I believe it's nothing to worry about and can be sanded out. To the right of the pic you'll see a chunk missing in the aluminum, that's nothing to worry about as the head unit will hide it, but just below it there is a small low spot in the corner. It's not really noticable. And there's not really much you can do to fix it other than welding some aluminum on and milling it flat. Which isn't really worth the trouble.
Link to pic, beware, very large file! (http://pyro81.brinkster.net/forsale/fs-bezeldamage.jpg)
