3L headers

is there a difference between headers on a 2.5 or a 3L ....cause im goin with the straight taurus 3L swap and im looking for a set of headers and someoen said that 2.5 headers will not bolt up ???

Also, I believe all 3l model vehicles have different exhaust routing so if you used tuarus / sable / escape headers then you would have to do a custom exhaust.

When using 2.5 headers and a 3l UIM you have to do fabrication to the EGR tube. Simple enough if you have a welder or you can take it to a shop. There is plenty of info and pictures on the subject.

You wouldn't use the stock 3L exhaust manifolds unless you wanted to create more work for yourself.
