help me cougar people pls

looking at buying a 1969 cougar i seen sitting in a field the in is 9f911h582110 it says it engine code 1 i have no clue what that means if you could e mail me with some info on the car and what you think it would be worth i would give it a 2 out of ten for body and a 5 out of ten for interior if you could email me at stephenholland@hotmail.com asap cause some other guy is looking at it too

Is that the vin number you gave. As far as price I would not go more then a grand, unless it is a 429 cougar elimanator, then offer more money a lot more money.

All I can tell you is that if its just a regular cougar it either has a 302 or 351 in it. All early cougars had v-8s in them, they never came with the 6 cyl. It sounds like a good project car to restore.
